Senior Community Council

The Weber-Morgan Senior Community Council advises the Weber/Morgan Council on Aging and Weber Human Services (WHS) Area Agency on Aging on matters relating to the delivery of services to the elderly throughout Weber and Morgan Counties.

 

The Senior Community Council advises the WHS Area Agency on Aging on matters relating to the following senior center programs:

  1. Education

  2. Legal Services

  3. Information & Assistance

  4. Volunteer Services

  5. Preventive Health Education, Screenings and Activities

  6. Nutrition Program

The Senior Community Council provides feedback to the WHS Area Agency on Aging regarding:

  1. Program effectiveness.

  2. Existing and proposed services offered at senior centers.

  3. Congregate meal service and menu items.

  4. Concerns and suggestions from program participants.
